Strings on Sydney Music is one of Sydney's most experienced string trios. We have been playing at venues across Sydney since 2003. Strings on Sydney Music have a varied repertoire and would love to play at your next event.

Jessica Love
Jessica Love has been playing violin from the age of four. At twelve years of age she began studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music High School with Susan Collins. As part of the Conservatorium High School String Quartet, she performed for the Queen and at many prominent events. Jessica has been a member of the Sydney Youth Orchestra, Performing Arts Unit Orchestra, SBS Radio and Television Youth Orchestra. In 2003 she performed with the Australian Youth Orchestra in Perth and Melbourne.
Jessica completed her Bachelor of Music Studies, majoring in Violin Performance, at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2004. She studied violin with Goetz Richter, Chair of Strings, and participated in numerous master classes. After completing a Bachelor of Teaching and many years of teaching violin to both individuals, small groups and developing strings programs; Jessica became the Head of Strings at Newington College in 2006.
In 2009 she moved to Singapore to work as the Head of Music at SJI International School. During this time Jessica performed with The Braddel Heights Symphony Orchestra and The Philharmonic Orchestra. Since returning to Sydney in 2011, Jessica has worked as the Assistant Coordinator of Music at Redlands and played violin in both the Eminence Symphony Orchestra and as Concert Master with The Metropolitan Orchestra.
Jessica is a founding member of Strings on Sydney Music and plays first violin.

Nataliya Lukich
Nataliya Lukich began playing violin at the age of seven. In 2012 she completed her Bachelor of Music Performance with Honours at the University of New South Wales, finishing her degree under the instruction of Goetz Richter. ttle more about you.
Nataliya began her early orchestral experience with the SBS Youth Orchestra at the age of 16. She has performed as a soloist with the University of NSW Orchestra where she also acted as Concertmaster for two years. Nataliya joined Sydney Youth Orchestra in 2010 and was a member for three years, acting as Concertmaster, Associate Concertmaster and Section Leader. She has led sectionals, quartets, and many concerts. She has performed with the Australian Youth Orchestra, with Nick Zinner for his debut of 41 Strings in Sydney's Opera House. She has also performed and led one of the quartets in Steve Reich's Triple Quartet composition for the Steve Reich in Residence in the Opera House.

Steve Meyer
Steve Meyer is a versatile cellist who performs regularly in a broad range of concerts throughout Sydney. He studied at the Sydney Conservatorium with Susan Blake and has appeared at the Australian Festival of Chamber Music in Townsville. As an orchestral player Steve has performed with many ensembles including the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, the Sydney Opera House Orchestra and has played principal cello for The Metropolitan Orchestra, the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and Sydney Chamber Orchestra.
As a theatre performer Steve has performed in many stage productions throughout Australia including The Lion King, Les Miserable, Matilda, Ghost Dream Lover and Ladies is Black. He toured to Broadway New York with Belvoir St Theatre as solo musician in The Book of Everything. Steve has appeared as soloist with Orchestra 143, the Sydney Chamber Orchestra and premiered the cello concerto Cyan Echo by Mark Oliveiro with the Bourbaki Ensemble. In the popular music world Steve has performed with John Farnham, Olivia Newton John, Jimmy Barnes, Elaine Paige, The Church and recently toured Australia with Air Supply. Steve has taught Chamber Music at the Sydney Conservatorium and is currently a freelance cellist performing around Sydney.
